Grown on our Paso Robles vineyards, this unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petite Sirah has resulted in a symphony of berry and black cherry with well integrated tannin and balanced acidity. Oak aging has given this wine notes of butterscotch and vanilla.
Concerto is a Bordeaux-style blend made from grapes sourced from the rolling hills of Paso Robles. Aging in French and American oak barrels highlights concentrated flavors of cherry and black current. Abundant soft tannins contribute to the long satisfying finish.
The masterful Rhone style blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah offers a cornucopia of fruit and spice. Ripe cherry and allspice predominate on the palate, while the finish is lengthy with hints of soft oak from the 18 months of cellaring.
One of the bolder Bordeaux-style varietals, this richly extracted Petit Verdot is a pleasure to experience. Observed in the glass, the rich dark color is an omen of what’s to come. This is a full-bodied, fruit forward wine (blackberry and other dark berry notes), and cellaring has contributed to the velvety tannins.
The color of this wine is our darkest of this vintage, an omen of the dark berry, plum and blueberry to be discovered. This well extracted wine also exhibits vanilla bean, black licorice and cherry as well. This is a full-bodied wine with firm tannins and a long finish.

This delightful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec was inspired by our love for Paso Robles Malbec. Here at Opolo, we tamed a big beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon with lots of rich and creamy Malbec to make an absolutely elegant wine that is sure to deliver now and for years to come. Soft tannins and a beautiful bouquet of fruit, complemented by aging in both French and American oak barrels, have created a wine with immediate appeal.
Great wines must start with great grapes. At Opolo Vineyards, our wines are produced with grapes from our own vineyards. We have direct control of the viticultural practices, and as a result, we learn whatworks best in the vineyard to produce exceptional wines. This Syrah showcases the potential of Syrah grown in the Paso robles area. It offers a generous bouquet of fruit, while barrel aging for 20 months in both French and American oak has lent this wine a beautiful lightly toasted component and lush mouth-feel. The color is a rich garnet and the natural acidity is well balanced.
Upfront aromas strawberry and blueberry are complimented with nuanced vanilla and clove. Wonderfully fruit forward flavors of raspberry and cherry lead to a delightfully long and satisfying finish. Medium bodied and supple it can pair with a variety of dishes ranging from citrus grilled chicken to classic spaghetti and meatballs.
This Central Coast Chardonnay was partially barrel fermented in new French oak barrels and aged sur-lies. The combination of sur-lies and stainless steel aging results in an extremely well balanced and complex wine. Partial malolactic fermentation adds layers of creaminess and depth which are balanced by crisp acidity and bright flavors of apple and pear.
With grapes sourced from the renowned Edna Valley, this Chardonnay exhibits all of the traits that make Chardonnay so justly famous. To ensure complexity, the wine was partially barrel fermented in new French oak barrels and aged sur-lies. To bring out the great fruit flavors, the balance was fermented slowly in stainless steel. This combination results in an extremely well-balanced and well-integrated wine. Partial malolactic fermentation adds layers of creaminess and depth which are balanced by crisp acidity and bright flavors of apple blossom and white peach.
A unique blend of Counoise, Grenache and Syrah, this is a medium bodied red wine with delightful aromatics, bright fruit and spice. Blackberry and clueberry dominate on the palate, while smooth tannins lend a firm structure and velvety mouth-feel.
Opens with bright red cherry and plum aromas framed with vanilla and nutmeg. Wonderfully smooth through the middle with a delightfully racy finish. Medium bodied and perfect to drink now. It can also be laid down for 3-5 years. A perfect pairing with roast turkey or duck.
