Montagna-Mare is a blend of Barbera and Sangiovese grapes from carefully selected vineyards. This "Italianesque" wine has a very long, spicy finish that is fruit driven yet integrated with broad strokes of oak aging.
Concentrated aromas cranberry and hibiscus are interwoven with earthy notes of tobacco and loam. Ripe strawberry and cherry follow with lively acidity and a satisfying finish. Drink now. Pair with blackened red snapper or pizza margarita.
Sangiovese, the noble grape of Tuscany, has found a new home at Opolo Vineyards. Our Sangiovese is a fullbodied wine featuring forward fruit characteristics of raspberry, mint leaves and black cherry. The luxurious finish lingers on the palate, popping with bright acidity and velvety texture. Barrel aging on 100% American oak lend this wine soft tannins and subtle oak nuances.
Rich flavors of ripened raspberry explode onto the palate then transition into darker, more luscious boysenberry and blackberry fruit. Loads of background vanilla with hints of licorice and velvety cocoa with spicy overtones throughout. Finishes long and rich.
Opens with black cherry and mocha, surrounded by rich aromas of tobacco and leather and mint. Full bodied with well-structured yet silky tannins this wine is a heavyweight that can be enjoyed young or laid down for several years. Best enjoyed if cellared for 1 year and can be laid down up to 10 years.

If you are one of those that believe bigger is better, read on. Appropriated named both for it's beautiful bouquet of fruit, as well as where the grapes are grown, this full-bodied Zinfandel has plenty of black cherry, plum and spice and is framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Zinfandel isn't known as America's most decadent red for nothing.
Named for the creek that runs through our west-side vineyard in the Santa Lucia Mountains, this Zinfandel offers forward fruit characteristics, including ripe black cherry, raspberry and a touch of spice. On the palate, this well-balanced wine offers a delightful aftertaste that keeps on giving.
This wine shines with the classic characteristics of Albariño produced in its original home, the Rías Baixas region of Spain. Aromas of honeysuckle, tangerine, and grapefruit dominate while delicate hints of hyacinth round out the nose. Lemon, honey and crisp acidity are followed by pleasing mineral finish on this well balanced and distinctive wine.
Normally associated with the Rhone Valley in France, this white wine has found its home on the Central Coast in California and is a great alternative to Chardonnay. The crisp acidity of this straw colored wine accentuates the bouquet of pineapples, apricots, butterscotch and citrus blossoms. Barrel aging in French Oak has endowed this floral wine with added complexity and a toasty finish.
Opolo’s sparkling wine is refreshing, light golden in color and full of flavor with pronounced ribbons of bubbles. The palate holds effervescent notes of peach and apple that lead to a delightful finish. The sparkling is perfect for an afternoon poolside or the enjoyment of your finest celebrations!
