A unique blend of Counoise, Grenache and Syrah, this is a medium bodied red wine with delightful aromatics, bright fruit and spice. Blackberry and clueberry dominate on the palate, while smooth tannins lend a firm structure and velvety mouth-feel.

Juicy blue, raspberry, accompanied by cinnamon and clove explode out of the glass. Bright flavors of blueberry and black berry lead to a wonderfully racy finish in the medium bodied wine.

Our grapes are sourced from our estate vineyards in Paso Robles. Cooling breezes from the nearby Pacific Ocean contribute foggy mornings and lower summer temperatures, which produces exceptional, expressive fruit.
The 2013 vintage began as normal with cold winter months followed by a warm spring. The summer months were hot with just enough cool spikes to allow for extended hang time thus producing grapes of utmost maturity, outstanding quality, and rich concentrated flavors.
Pair with Creole shrimp or spice rubbed pork tenderloin.
